The 2001 Network Q Rally GB was a clash of the titans with Richard Burns and Colin Mcrae going toe to toe for the world championship at the last rally of the season, on home soil. After a spectacular exit by Mcrae and Grist on Rhondda (Stage 3), Richard Burns and Robert Reid held on to claim 3rd place and with it the World Title. During this golden era of WRC, stacked with legendary drivers, Burns and Reid proved they really were the very best in the world.
